There was a lot to love at the 2016 Geneva Car Show, whether you love supercars or not. Among the many models being announced at the show including the world’s very first 1,500 horsepower supercar. That distinction now goes to the all new Bugatti Chiron, the successor to the legendary Veyron. The new Bugatti takes just 2.5 seconds to go from 0 to 60 and has a top speed of 260mph that’s reportedly limited. Yikes.

The new Chiron wasn’t the only supercar of note at the Geneva Motor show either, because there were several other interesting additions. As Bugatti and Aston Martin debuted their new supercars at the Motor Show, there were two revivals of sorts from both Arrow ( formerly Gumpert ) as well as Spyker.

One of our more personal favorites was the all new Porsche 911 R, which turned back the clock on purist road machines. It’s hard to find such a lightweight and true supercar build in today’s age, but Porsche did it with the 911 R.

In the midst of Porsche’s electric sports car revolution and the continuation of constant drive transmissions, it was really refreshing to see a throwback like the Porsche 911 R.

Pure sports cars like the 911 R are slowly dying or in the case of the Dodge Viper, already dead. If you missed all the coverage of the 2016 Geneva car show, here’s our Top Ten Best cars of the Geneva Motor show listed below.

Ten Best Cars from the 2016 Geneva Car Show

As one of the largest and more celebrated car shows in the world, the 2016 Geneva Car Show has come to a close. Although there are many car shows like the SEMA trade show in Las Vegas that feature more hardcore vehicles and craftsmanship, the Geneva Motor Show is applauded for it's neutral location and don't typically favor any one manufacturer over another. Because there is no home field advantage, this allows exotic super car manufacturers as well as the big dogs to compete and bring out the best cars from the Geneva Car Show.

This is what makes the Geneva Car Show one of the most unique ones of it's kind. Because all the cars and manufacturer's must bring their A game, there's so many incredible cars and builds to choose from. Here's a quick look at our ten best cars from the 2016 Geneva car show.

Bugatti Chiron

As the eventual successor to the Veyron, the Chiron is the next incredible Bugatti super car. There was talk of the new Bugatti being an electric hybrid like the the Nissan Zeod or the Acura NSX, but the Chiron sticks to the traditional means of horsepower. While the hybrid electric conversion for the new Bugatti didn't come to fruition, the Chiron still boasts over 1500 horsepower with a top rated speed that's limited to 261 mph.

One supercar that barely missed being on our list was the incredible McLaren 570 GT. We covered this vehicle earlier in the year so it’s exclusion from this list doesn’t condemn it in any way. It’s still an incredible machine and certainly deserving of a spot on our Ten Best cars of the 2016 Geneva Car Show countdown.
