We are ramping up for the 2015 SEMA show and if there’s one machine we are hell bent on checking out, it’s the Kuhl Racing Nissan GT-R. This incredible machine headlines the offering from Kuhl Racing, which also includes a GT86 as well as a custom Prius and custom JDM vans like the Toyota Vellfire and Alphard.

Fresh from taking home Grand Prix honors at the Tokyo Auto Salon, the Kuhl Racing GT-R is taking aim at the annual SEMA car show. Easily one of the stunning exteriors we’ve seen in some time, with custom chrome etching made possible by the process called Artic 3D. The silver Kuhl Racing GT-R is made with laser etching during the paint process, and it’s remarkable in person.

Kuhl will be bringing both the silver show winning car along with the candy apple red GT-R shown above. While last year’s SEMA show highlighted the Liberty Walk Skyline ( and the Jeep crash, ) this GT-R takes a more traditional path to their build.

Stripping down the chassis for prep, Kuhl Racing extended the rear fenders using 70mm rear flares, with 50mm flares up front. It gives this GT-R a Hulk-like stance and looks incredible in these teaser shots.

There’s four Emotion CR2P 20 inch rims at each corner and the aggressive aero is painted to perfection. Swanneck puts the finishing touches on the wide rear end with a GT Wing that really sets things off. While the specs aren’t in for the red GT-R, the silver Nissan that took the Tokyo Auto Salon by storm fit 21×11.5 +25 wheels up front with 21×12.5 -60 rims in the rear. We wouldn’t expect anything less from the small but already accomplished tuner.

We are willing to bet if any car can break the stranglehold that Ford has on the SEMA show, it’s this offering from Kuhl Racing. Nissan has certainly cooled their jets after bringing the Skyline GT-R to last year’s SEMA show, and the only other manufacturer that seems to be getting ready for SEMA is Hyundai.

The red Kuhl Racing GT-R doesn’t break horsepower records like the Alpha GT-R, but there’s no doubting the style and work into it. We will be bringing you coverage of the incredible Kuhl GT-R at this year’s SEMA show, as we do every year.
