Toyota’s Supra officially returns, and one specific 2020 Supra just sold for 2.1 million dollars at the 48th Annual Barrett-Jackson Auction at WestWorld of Scottsdale, Arizona. That’s right. 2.1 million smackeroos for a Supra may seem a bit steep, but don’t tell that to the first new Supra owner in over 20 years.
The all-new Supra GR rolled off the assembly line coined as “Global 1” and with a VIN number ending in 20201. This number designates the first ever built and sold production ready 2020 Supra made by Toyota, ready to do battle with the Nissan GTR in the revival of Japanese supercars.
