Rumors have long swirled around talk of the new 370Z and Nissan is teasing a concept at SEMA which could mean good news for fans. The SEMA automotive aftermarket show is known as the biggest of it’s kind, giving Nissan the perfect platform to showcase the new 370Z.
According to the statement released from Nissan, the concept 370Z goes by the name of Project Clubsport 23. The new Nissan is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6, undoubtedly based on Skyline power plant.
Making a grand appearance at SEMA is one thing, but could this concept actually be the upgraded 370Z that fans have long asked for? Time will tell.
Nissan Concept – New 370Z?
Like many other manufacturers, Nissan is coming loaded to the gills for the largest automotive car show on the planet. SEMA is one of a kind when it comes to automotive platforms, and for good reason. With over 160,000 vendors and manufacturers, it is the show of the year.

What’s under the hood of the new concept 370Z? Nissan builds upon the timeless VQ form factor. Based on the Infiniti Q50 Red Sport, the concept Z cranks up the performance with less displacement. Swapping the 3.7 liter version of this V6 for it’s 3.0 liter twin turbo cousin, the new 370Z churns out over 400 horsepower.
That’s not all, as Nissan pulled out all the stops when it comes to the drivetrain. Coupled to the manual transmission from a 370Z Nismo, the new 370Z could be one for the ages should it actually come to production.
Of course Nissan’s entry to the SEMA show wouldn’t be complete without aftermarket components. Fitted at each corner is a full set of KW Variant coilovers with a set of cold wound Eibach springs. Z1Motorsports handles the stopping duties tucked under a custom set of Rays Racing Wheel.
