Hello,
I was wondering if you’re wiring diagram for 2002-2007 is accurate for the 2006 Mazdaspeed 6 with the factory Bose sound system.
If not, any idea where I could find it?
Hello,
Are any of these diagrams applicable to the 2006 Mazdaspeed 6 with the Bose factory stereo system?
Yes this Mazdasspeed 6 stereo wiring diagram will work just fine.
Hello, I’m trying to install an aftermarket stereo in my 2012 mazda6. It has a factory 6disc changer in it and with three different plugs. I hooked up the speakers according to your post but i also need the color coding for the steering wheel controls and the other wires so i can direct splice them together. Would you have them available?
Hi Konrad, for your 6disc changer Mazda 6, I would recommend a steering wheel flying harness which will make your installation far easier. Does your vehicle come with a factory amp? If so there will be an additional amplifier harness you will need to tee into.
I have a 2005 Mazda6 S Sport with Bose system.
I hooked up my aftermarket stereo and everything seems to work except I have no audio coming through and my steering wheel controls do not work.
I didnt know there was a Bose amp under the passenger seat, I didnt disconnect or connect anything to this, am I missing something here?
So you will need a steering wheel adapter for your wheel controls to work. When you installed the new Mazda stereo, what did you use? a flying loom included in a kit? Or did you wire it up yourself?
