Whether you are trying to finish your TSX stereo install or upgrade your sound system, this Acura TSX stereo wiring diagram can help. Containing the complete car audio wiring schematic for your Acura, this guide can save you lots of time. When you use any of our comprehensive car wiring guides, you won’t have to search for speaker wires or hunt for wire colors.
This is because our Acura TSX stereo wiring DIY tutorial will show you the complete radio wiring harness and identify all of the wires. Save money and time by getting your Acura TSX stereo install completed yourself. Because there are two generations of the TSX or the Touring Sportscar eXperimental as it’s known, this wiring guide will help you with both.
The late model Acuras will require you to go with a custom radio install kit, regardless of what you are installing. This install kit will usually include a set of custom mounting brackets and a dash panel replacement. The dash panel replacement is usually customized to fit your single DIN Acura TSX radio or aftermarket stereo.
Of course this will change slightly if your TSX is equipped with navigation already. When upgrading your Acura TSX navigation system, you can use a plug and play stereo wiring harness to get the job done. If you are reinstalling your factory Acura TSX stereo, you’ll need your radio code from Acura / Honda.
First Gen Acura TSX stereo wiring 2004–2008
The first generation of TSX is the easiest if you want to get your Acura TSX stereo install done. You won’t need a aftermarket stereo harness to make your radio or navigation unit install when you have our TSX stereo wiring schematic.

Hi Paul, setting the timing is easy to do in your Honda. Do you have a 3.0 liter J series V6? or a 2.4 liter K24 DOHC 4 cylinder? let me know and I can help you out! You won’t need to adjust much however, timing is fairly straightforward to do! Thanks for commenting Paul
Hey John Saturday I went back by that junk yard I counted about ten k-20 .. k -24 honda accura engines @ 150$ per engine this is in baton rouge. PAUL JONES
There was a guy lookin at a k20 I went got a battery hooked up a hot wire to the sol.on the starter and took a flat head screw driver and fired up the motor for him it started rite up but the headlites started flashing and horn was beepin engine sounded really good he got that engine for 150$ also..mine had 78,0000 miles I said no im rebuild ing mine..so I know its good its a 225 hp v6..
Hey Paul, again slightly confused… the K series engines are DOHC 4 cylinders that are transverse mounted. are you looking at the J series V6 that’s in the accord / odyssey and others?
Where can I find a 2nd Gen TSX Wiring diagram? You mention some wire colors but I can’t find a diagram anywhere. I am looking to tap into the sub woofer signal wire going to the amp. I was hoping I could get a better sound by doing so rather than using the LOC feature of the new replacement amp I’m using. I have a 2009 TSX Premium sound w/ELS
Kevin, thanks for commenting, I’ll have the research team dig this up and post! Thanks!
Hello, I have an 05 tsx (without nav) and am automatically thrown off because my L rear speaker (the 6×9) is the blue/yellow and pink. AND the R rear are red and brown wires. I did not see this combination on any diagrams I’ve found and I can’t even see it up in front as an input into the OEM amp. Suggestions?
Weird, nothing I have shows that color combo as well. The wires appear factory though Jacob? If so can you try to identify using a 9v battery? Using this method you should be able to identify the TSX stereo wiring back at your head unit
Hi John; Great source of information! i have a 2004 TSX with oem nav system and radio. For some reason; the radio will turn on mute mode after five minutes of driving and will not turn back to normal until turn off engine. I was looking into the amplifier and found that they have the mute input. Do you have the wiring code or diagram for the main board of the radio and the amplifier? or do you know how to trigger the unmute function of the amplifier? Thank you.
