Hi, i got an Android touchscreen radio and im needing help with the reverse camera wiring (is there any adapter to convert from oem to the rca that comes with new radio) and on how to keep the steering controls…
Hi Manuel, thanks for reading my Honda Fit stereo wiring guide. You are going to want a conversion harness for your Honda Fit to get the RCA inputs to connect to. There are several cheap kids online that you can go with.
Thanks for commenting!
hi there , Do you have wiring diagram for factory camera connection
What year is your Honda Fit?
John,
Can you verify that in this article “Car Radio Illumination Wire” means the wire that tells the head unit that the headlights are fully on, or is this some wire to send power to illuminate the head unit (which doesn’t make sense and thus why I’m asking.
I have a 2016 Fit LX and have had “fits” no pun intended, getting the car to control a Sony Android Auto head unit switching between day and night modes.
Yes Rich, that is correct sir. Illumination wire does indeed mean that. Most vehicles can control this through a dimmer switch or rotary dial.
I want to add a powered subwoofer byt Sound Ordnance B-8PTD and I am just wondering would I hook up to the rear speaker wires? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hey Bob, what year is your Fit? You will have an opt out from your stereo, or will need to add one for subwoofer support. Hope that helps!
Hi my fit is the lower version (Fit 2015 Dx Brasil) It just has the audio/battery connector (same for both as usual) + 01 connector to the antenna, I bough a multimida exactally as this of you picute but I cant connect do bluetooth due to a mesage of safety saying I can’t pair the bluettoth with the car in movement even parked with the break lever up and the gear on P (parker). How can I fix this? Thank you?
Hi there Diego,
You will need a speed bypass to disable this. This safety function is part of Honda’s safety system, and if you want to be able to do this you will need a device to fool the ECM into thinking you are in park.
Obviously, do this at your own peril. Thanks for reading!
