It’s hard to believe that it’s been over 15 years since Fast and Furious burst onto the scene. Since then the movie series has grown by leaps and bounds, becoming much more than a simple street racing story. In fact the only thing more over the top then the Fast 8 cars is the plot.
One thing is for sure, the tongue in cheek story of the new Fast and Furious movies takes action to the extreme. The eighth entry in the iconic movie series returns the familiar names and faces. Vin Diesel, Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson will make their return to Fast 8 as wel as Nathalie Emmanuel.
There’s also been quite a bit of news and rumors around the plot of Fast 8. Charlize Theron is making her Fast and Furious debut as the primary antagonist and familiar faces like Eva Mendez and Lucas Black will return to reprise roles in the movie franchise. There’s also been rumors of Cody, Paul Walker’s brother making an appearance in Fast 8.
Of course there’s more than just people starring in these movies. In fact many of the legendary Fast and Furious cars are as famous if not more than many of their acting counterparts. And in fitting fashion the Fast 8 cars crank up the excitement in the upcoming movie.
The Fast 8 cars shown in the video above highlight a full range of awesome supercars. Some of the more notable entries in the Fast 8 garage include a Nissan IDX concept as well as several military assault trucks. The list of cars in the upcoming Fast and Furious movie hint at the over the top action that’s soon to come. Fast 8 is set in New York City, and other shooting locations include Iceland as well as Cleveland.
Looking through the video above, you’ll also notice several Lamborghini Murciélagos as well as a few heavily modified Subaru Impreza WRXs.
