How to Change a Elantra side view mirror
Before you begin the process to change your side view mirror, you’ll need a replacement. Your replacement Hyundai mirror is easy to buy, and finding the best price on your Elantra side view mirror doesn’t have to be hard.
Today’s guide is replacing the driver side Elantra mirror. The part numbers for these Elantra side view mirrors are as follows :

Tools you need to replace your Hyundai side view mirror
- 10mm socket
- wrench
- spatula or plastic panel popper
Once you are ready to replace your side view mirror, you should disconnect your battery. This step is not mandatory, but anytime you are working with electronics in your vehicle, it’s not a bad idea.

Now open your driver side door. Locate your spatula or panel popper and begin with the inside crease of the door jam. Gently pry until you get one edge pulled up of the door panel. Remove the speaker or blank panel next.

Now that you have your Elantra panel removed, you can see the bolts that hold the mirror in place.
These are 10mm nuts that must be removed. Once you have these nuts removed, you can take off the broken side view mirror.
Before proceeding, you must ensure that both wiring connectors are put back together. There’s an exterior Elantra wiring connector for heated side mirrors and power controls.
Mount your replacement Hyundai side view mirror. Make sure it’s fully secure by tightening the interior 10mm nuts.
Once you are satisfied with your Elantra side view mirror replacement, you can connect your tweeter once more. Put the interior panel back in place, and you are good to go!
