Torquing your wheels to the proper specification is an important part of vehicle maintenance. However what happens when you happen to own a 1000 horsepower 2JZ Celica that blows the lug nuts off the wheels? That’s what happens in this incredible video that must be watched to be believed!
This incredible 1000 HP 2JZ Celica belongs to the crew over at Speed Warhouse, and they’ve had an eventful TX2K16 thus far. This video comes to us by way of 1320 video, and like all of their work it’s got a ton of production value. Fans of the 2JZ as well as the old school Celica will love what this white throwback has got going on.
The 2JZ Celica has been participating in both Roll Racing as well as the drag races at TX2K16 with stunning results. None of which were as stunning as late in the video where the 1000 horsepower 2JZ Celica completely blows the lug nuts off the rear wheel as shown below.
The complete video has more than just this incredible fail however, as the 2JZ Celica pits itself against some of the stiffest competition at TX2K16. Facing off against a Nissan GT-R as well as an iconic Audi R8, the 2JZ Celica looks and sounds amazing.
It’s all going well until it lines up to launch and the sheer torque generated from the 2JZ Celica is simply too much for the lug nuts and studs to handle.
