The first gen Honda minivan utilized a single DIN or double DIN stereo layout. The panel shares a lot of similarities with the second generation Odyssey, in that you can remove the front dash panel to access the radio.

Much like the first generation Honda Odyssey, you can install a double DIN aftermarket stereo. However this will require you to eliminate the single DIN pocket in your dashboard.

The third generation Honda van took a step forward with a newly renovated interior. It looked much better but it’s harder to install a new stereo. This will depend largely on the factory options you have with your stereo.

The latest generation of Honda Odyssey had several changes to the interior as well. There’s a few different ways you can install an aftermarket radio into your minivan.
Much like the previous generation of Odyssey, you are going to have a hard time if you don’t have a full made install kit. This will replace the dash bezel and allow you to bolt in a single DIN or double DIN unit accordingly.
