I have a honda civic 95 si hatch back.
Swapped engine is H22a1 series with 5w-30 as the oil grade for the motor.
I really want to have this engine or the car last as long as possible.
It has after market stuff in there already
-cold air intake
-motor mounts
Headers and mufflers
BUT, was wanting any or all input on what I can do to keep it powerful and maintained as long as possible
(Aside from oil changes and changing spark plugs)
Any info would he awesome
Hi Christian! Sounds like a great swap! the best is to keep your H series properly maintained, throw in some magnetic drain plugs for your engine and transmission, they do wonders. As far as future mods I would highly recommend an H2B transmission swap which will allow you to bolt on a B series hydro transmission. It can really unlock the potential of your 2.2 VTEC!
