Turbosmart has enjoyed a lot of success as a revolutionary manufacturer, giving us such products as the E-boost and taking manual boost controllers the extra step. But today we’ll be focusing on their extensive lineup of turbocharger wastegates.

Starting with the internal wastegate lineup of IWG75 upgraded wastegates, these Turbosmart units are a 100% bolt on application that completely changes how your turbocharged vehicle reacts and drives. By optimizing the reaction time of the turbo and using their own spring and clevis design, Turbosmart’s IWG series will improve response and decrease turbo lag.

High temp resistant Nomex reinforced diaphragms ensure maximum life and total control for as long as you own the wastegate. High grade billet construction means show quality shine and fitment, while Turbosmart’s unique locking cap reduces spring change time.

More Applications

Not to be outdone by their internal cousins, Turbosmart also boasts the highest pressure external wastegates on the market with their ‘HP’ lineup of external wastegates. Up to 40 psi is available upon request for those seeking extreme boost or horsepower levels, or those opting for E85 alternative flex fuel.

Internal wastegates will significantly boost your control and increase response, but there comes a time where the opening of your internal wastegate flapper may not be able to keep up. This is called boost creep and there can be many different contributing factors to this condition.

No matter what the causes are, the one true solution is to move to an external wastegate for total boost control in your vehicle.

Available in all of the standard sizes, from 38mm and above the Ultra Gate, Comp Gate and Hyper Gate models take turbocharger boost control to the next level. Their Pro Gate and Power Gate external wastegates head up the class with unparalleled wastegate openings of 50 and 60mm externals.

These external wastegates were designed with fitment, quality and performance in mind all in a small form factor design that is compact and lightweight for any solution. This allows you to bolt on external wastegates where you might not have had the space in your engine bay, these wastegates are shorter, smaller and lighter making install a breeze.

Boost creep or an existing overboost condition have you worried? Maybe you don’t have enough flow from your internal wastegate to bleed off the boost pressure, or perhaps you have mounted your external wastegate too far down the 02 housing for total control.

No matter what your problem is, give us a call and we’ll be more than happy to assist you with the sizing of your turbocharger, wastegate or any similar component.

Happy Boosting!
