The 2013 SEMA Automotive Trade Show didn’t disappoint this year and  the “Best New Product” award winner this year in the Street Rod/Custom Car category was Aeromotive’s Phantom Fuel System.

Utilizing AN -6 feed for EFI or optional AN -8 for carbureted setups, the Phantom in tank baffle system utilizes the Phantom Fuel Pump that should be regulated with a minimum of 20 amps and triggered by way of relay.

The Phantom Fuel Pump brings you the ultimate in fuel delivery and is more than capable of delivering up to 340lph @ 700 EFI horsepower and over 1000+ hp in carbureted applications.

On the surface the system’s somewhat involved installation may scare off the more common enthusiasts who might mistake this modification as a drag only or “off-road” only use. But in fact this system is perfect for a number of different applications, from 2JZ / RB25 and LS engine swaps, custom street rods, or any forced induction application where high capacity fuel delivery is demanded.

Aeromotive’s innovative tank flange and fuel pump assembly allows you to install the Phantom Pump or any pump of your choosing to be mounted on nearly any type of fuel tank to prevent fuel starvation and fight off slosh. As is the case with every Aeromotive product, the kit is made from top-quality billet aeronautical grade aluminum and high-performance materials.

You will need a return style regulator in this situation, unless you have a standalone ECU that is capable of running a returnless system. (Aeromotive p/n 13105, 13109 or 13129 for EFI)
