Footage that Chevy fans have been waiting for, check out this video of the Corvette spotted the Nürburgring. Posted by CarSpotterQVS on Youtube, there’s a lot to like about this Corvette spy footage. Although much of the C8’s information and looks have been released through a range of spy photos, video is worth a thousand words.
The footage posted may feature a wrapped Chevy, but there’s no doubting that the new Corvette sounds incredible in every way. There hasn’t been an official time posted, but it’s hard to imagine the mid-engined Chevy performing poorly.

Watching the Corvette in action, there are a few noteworthy changes you can walk away with. The front fascias for one look more aggressive and from first glance may be incorporating air ducts for improved braking performance. The rear of the Corvette also leans heavily on this concept, with large ducts built into the sweeping body lines.
Questions about the new Corvette still abound, however. With rumors circulating about an unmodifiable ECU, it’s not a small matter. What compounds this issue even further is our first look at a turbo C8. There’s no denying the distinct turbo whistle when the wrapped Corvette’s leave the gas station.
What could an untunable Corvette mean for potential owners? Is locking down the C8 really the right move for Chevy at this stage? Will potential buyers look elsewhere instead? It’s a fair question to ask considering that the future of the Camaro is again in serious doubt.
Some people may downplay this factor. There are those who state that manufacturer packages should be able to compensate for any lack of fuel or ignition customization. I would beg to differ.
Considering what’s at stake, Chevy’s flagship performer has to succeed. And whether or not people want to admit it, the concept of being able to turn up the performance in any turbo application is a considerable purchasing factor.
For the average performance enthusiast, this can’t help but bring up doubts. Lack of sales will lead to fewer numbers, less support and aftermarket Corvette parts.
Whatever the case may be, the 2020 Corvette is right around the corner. If you liked this video of the Chevy Corvette C8 spotted, make sure to check out their Youtube channel.
