If the age old adage that “the customer is always right” applies to the best car brands in the United States, Acura may need to work on it’s image. The ACSI Customer Satisfaction Report is a national publication that ranks car brands based on consumer feedback. In fact the American Customer Satisfaction Index is the only national cross-industry measure of customer satisfaction in the United States.
Compiled over tens of thousands of users per brand, this report is a solid indication of the best car brands for the past year. The customer satisfaction report for 2016 was just released, and in a stunning turn of events, Acura came in dead last for car manufacturers. Want to find out who came out on top in the best car brands report? Check out our countdown below.
Best Car Brands of 2016
This car manufacturer report is based on results over 10 different economic sectors, giving you a good range of consumers. Because this report is built on poll results by people from all walks of life, it’s a fair indication that Acura needs to work on improving consumer relations. Scoring this low on a national survey is just not indicative of Acura’s overall build quality however.
Some of the other notable entries include a strong surge from Ford, as well as the South Korean car makers. Interestingly enough, several Japanese auto makers fell short of the ACSI median this year. Alarming? perhaps not but with such car brands like Mitsubishi struggling to hold on, it’s definitely not an optimistic time for Japanese car brands.
