The RTR Mustang has been a centerpiece of professional drifter Vaughn Gittin, Jr in the weeks leading up to the 2015 SEMA Show. Last year’s show had an incredible showing as Gittin flexed his Mustang drift skills, and we’ve got an epic Mustang drift battle video to cap an eventful Day 1 at the SEMA Show.
Paired with the Vaughn Gittin Motorsport F-150, the RTR Mustang drift battle is just a small part of the tremendous Ford showing at SEMA. The new RTR Mustang is highly stylized with many new world elements fused with some old school muscle. According to Ford, the new RTR Mustang will include styling elements that will also be offered through the Mustang RTR website as aftermarket parts.
As for the rest of the exterior, the previous teaser shot of the 2015 Mustang RTR shows a big boot lid spoiler joined by an aerodynamic diffuser with side splitters and center strakes incorporated in the rear bumper. The company previously mentioned on its official social media account that “our #MustangRTR Spec 2 and #Spec5Concept were fully tested by Vaughn Gittin Jr and are #readytorock #SEMA.”
