The 2015 SEMA Show is almost here and the Convention Center is bustling with preparation duties. This year has another whole bevy of customized and souped up cars that are vying for the Best of SEMA Show awards, which have been dominated by Ford the last few years. Chevy, Hyundai and other have been stepping up their game in an effort to loosen the Ford SEMA chokehold but they’ve got their work cut out for them.
Cranking up the boost this year, Ford is again leading the way with six Ford SEMA prepped vehicles that will take your breath away. This is of course but a sampling of the 50 plus vehicles that Ford will have on display, but it’s a good glimpse into the future of the Detroit automaker.
Let’s take a look at some of the entries below :
Ford Focus ST by Rally Innovations
Easily one of the more intriguing entries as far as the Ford Focus goes, Rally Innovations is taking their rally sport roots to the limit in this silver bullet. With 19 inch wheels and a custom rally roll cage, this silver hatchback has all the goodies under the hood.
Flexing Greddy Airinx intake components and a bolt on 24LS intercooler kit and Greddy exhaust, this Focus means business. RS-R coilovers at all four corners and a set of Whiteline bushings tighten up the entire chassis, while Cobb SPORT Tuning brings it all together.
As far as footwork goes, this silver Focus is using 19 inch Rays 57 Xtreme rims, wrapped with 245/39 R19 NT555 Nittos. We’ll be sure to check out this badass rally machine at the 2015 SEMA Show next week.
FSWERKS Focus ST
Using their own Cool-Flow air intake system and a custom built 3 inch stainless steel turboback exhaust, this Focus tricks out the engine bay with a complete COBB tuning management.
At the corners is a set of Rotiform monoblock LVS 19 inch wheels wrapped in sticky 235/35 R19 Continental ExtremeContact DW tires.
CJ Pony Parts’ Ford Focus ST
CJ Pony Parts has been one of the leading resellers specializing in Ford performance and it’s their burnt orange hatchback taking center stage. Using a bagged suspension setup from Airlift and several layers of pearl orange paint, this head turning hatchback has a little bit of it all.
Upgraded intake and exhaust as well as hardened motor mounts help keep vibration and shifting race spec and ready for action. A custom built front mount intercooler and ATP upgraded turbo gets the boost flowing into powerplant.
What makes the car might be the four Fifteen52 Tremac R43 19-in. wheels set over 6 piston Wilwood brakes with 14 inch front rotors.
COBB Tuning Ford Focus ST
One of the biggest names in tuning and custom turbocharged performance, COBB Tuning has been at the forefront of Focus engine management since Day 1. No wonder then why their hatchback promises to be the real head turner at the 2015 SEMA show.
The usual intake and exhaust upgrades apply to this silver hatch, with a custom COBB sport intercooler kit to boot. However the real magic may lay with the Accuair e-Level air-management system along with the Stoptech big brake system up front.
At all four corners is a 19 inch Rotiform forged DUS wheel, wrapped in sticky Michelin Pilot Super Sport rubber.
Cinemotive Media Ford Fiesta ST
The Ford Fiesta is one of the bigger players in the upcoming hatchback shootout, and Cinemotive Media offers their entry at the 2015 SEMA Show with this machine. Transforming this Fiesta ST into an urban performance machine, it’s at home at the track as well as cruising down the street.
There’s a bevy of COBB tuning parts under the hood to keep any expert driver busy, along with a front mount intercooler and custom downpipe exhaust. Keeping pressure under control is a SMART blow off valve, and there’s a set of BC Racing BR Type coilovers at each corner.
What’s really got us juiced is the 17 inch flush ADV.1 ADV5 Track rims to match the Baeri two piece rotors and six piston brakes.
Last but definitely not least is the DSPORT Ford Fiesta ST, which we are hoping to exclusively show off in a dedicated SEMA article this week. We’ve made no secret for our personal affection towards the 1.6 Ecoboost engine, and the DSPORT hatch makes full use of this remarkable powerplant.
DSPORT has this hatchback lined up to compete at the Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car class and using a Full-Race motorsports turbocharger setup it could make some serious noise.
Equipped with a fully stainless steel turbo manifold and custom exhaust, the DSPORT Hatch has ready for full tilt performance. Running a set of RC Engineering 320cc fuel injectors, there’s no limit considering the engine has been fully built and blueprinted using a mix of CP pistons and Carrillo rods.
Providing the positive pressure is a BorgWarner EFR 6258 Turbo that’s probably going to be limited heading into the Pirelli World Challenge. Simply put, there’s nothing to dislike on this DSPORT Ford SEMA prepped machine. Four KW 2-way independent adjustable coilovers and 6 piston Wilwood front brakes set out the footwork, while Volk Racing TE37V forged racing wheels wrapped in 245 Pirelli P-Zeros.
