Press Release – Kraftwerks Explains the BRZ-FRS Supercharger

True innovation and design is hard to find in today’s aftermarket performance parts segment. With the litany of copycat companies and knockoff brands, it’s no wonder that the tuning market has slowed significantly. After all why innovate when you can copy? Makes sense for those out for a quick buck.

Luckily the folks at Kraftwerks will not take the shortcuts or easy road when it comes to delivering quality performance. Their popular lineup of FRS Supercharger designed for the Subaru BRZ or Scion FR-S shows that these guys mean business about the FA20.

The FRS Supercharger is based on the Rotrex design, which is a complete all in one housing holding a centrifugal supercharger. The patented Rotrex design helps keep internals cool and capable of operating at high speeds and rpm levels. The impeller design and bearings have been tested to well over 120,000 rpm internally, meaning this FRS Supercharger can put out as much boost as you need.

Any number of factors and engineering points help distinctly push the Kraftwerks FRS Supercharger and the rest of their product line to the forefront. From the independent drive belt design, to the integrated stealth blow off valve keep things going, even in the roughest racing conditions.

The cold air intake tract and stepped 4-1 header help excavate exhaust gases and clear the combustion chamber quickly for the next compressed intake charge. Grams injectors help keep things at the right air fuel ratio with a direct fit design and no modification required for installation into your Toyabaru.

These Grams injectors are available from 550cc to 2200cc for E85 use, and are available in our store now. The FRS Supercharger kit has been proved to well over 400hp with E85 and upped boost to combat the high compression nature of this engine.

These BRZ / FRS Supercharger kits are available in two sized trims, from the C30-94 Supercharger to the C38-81 Supercharger. Engine management is provided by ECUtek with FA20 or 4U-GSE specific fuel and tuning tables available right out of the box. We like how non-invasive the ECUtek system is, and Kraftwerks takes the guesswork out of the equation with complete wiring harnesses.

Kraftwerks also has kits available for the new 2006-2011 Honda Civic SI that retains factory A/C and all accessories as well as all the hardware required for install.
