The SEMA show is the biggest annual automotive specialty product event that showcases manufacturers, shops and enthusiasts alike with some of the latest and greatest in what the aftermarket has to offer. Every year the Las Vegas Convention Center gives fans and followers an outlet to experience incredible street machines, educational seminars, product demonstrations and much much more.
Last year’s SEMA show held more than 60,000 domestic and import buyers and our favorite location is always the New Products Showcase, which is sure to have it’s share of new and hot FR-S and BRZ products.
Speaking of the lightweight rear wheel drive coupes, we wanted to take a look at Bisimoto’s new Hyundai Genesis that is putting down 1,000 horsepower from the 3.8L V6 powered Hyundai that normally only makes 348 hp.
It’s refreshing to see the Genesis get some love in the aftermarket front and it appears as though Hyundai is finally putting a lot of weight behind the platform.
We’ve obtained some sneak peek snapshots of the vehicle, take a look here :
We are very interested to see what this car does at the track and what exactly is powering it under the hood. While we don’t exactly know what specifications this turbocharged monster has, but the 3.8L Lambda engine certainly has set a benchmark with Bisimoto Engineering’s build.
Powered by a set of Turbonetics BTX6462 turbochargers, we are wondering how reliable this build is considering the statements made by the owner of Bisimoto Bisi Ezerioha. He believes the vehicle and motor are very robust and strong enough to withstand this kind of power on a reliable basis.
Attending the SEMA event? Make sure to say hello if you see any of us, but more importantly, make sure you see this Genesis!!
