Removal of most of those things would render the car to be not fit for the street. I would focus more on lightweight wheels, brakes, suspension, and exhaust. That will all improve the performance aspect of your vehicle, along with removing unnecessary weight.

You can shed a lot of weight by using a single bend, titanium exhaust. It would be rather expensive, but it would provide a nice sound, increased performance, and a HUGE weight savings compared to the stock counterpart.

Here is a link to Buschur that has the info i provided with some extras. It also has an upgrade sequence for the EVO and other DSM's. Note here, it all depends on what you want out of the car. They are one of the best around on DSM's.

When talking about bumper supports, they mean crash bars, correct?

I would never compromise my life for such minimal weight savings. Also, I live in texas, and A/C is wayy too important for me.

That link is a good read, and everyone should take a look at it, no matter what car they drive, since almost all of the components on it are found on every car, they could definately get a feel for what they can do in terms of weight savings.

#1 weight saver = go on a diet! w00t! lol.
