i feel you there i was w/o my car for 4 months this spring and summer. good luck w/ everything, i look forward to the 302 swap in the future. BTW what 302 do u have? is it a 5.0 ho from a stang or a 5.0 from a truck or a 302 carb from an older vehicle?

ok wel pulled the motor out and gutted it im gonna need a new crank new rods and a few other misc things aloong with a new clutch
so i think im just gonna buy a new engine comepletly rebuilt
with new heads rods pistons gaskits EVERYTHING if i do the rebuild myself its gonna end up costing the same price maybe $100 cheaper but i'd rather jsut get a whole new engine anyways just keeping you updated oh yeah the engine has a 1year warranty

How much more would it be to throw the 302 in there? Can't imagine it being much more. Saves labor at least doing it now instead of putting in the 6 and then the 8 later.
