okay i got a SAFC from a friend of mine he didny need it anymore so i told him i would take it off of his hands, so when i got the SAFC it had no pig tail for the end of so i could wire it into the car. so my question is can i wire it in with out using the pig tail and just clip off the end and use the wires that just come straight from the SAFC?

all you will need is the instructions from the AFC manual to wire it into your Nissan, easy to do, 5 wires that have to be spliced and 1 thats cut. Search apexi-usa.com for the docs

what's the pig tail? the part of the harness that disconnects from the wires coming out of the unit? if so, you don't need it. it just makes it easier to remove the unit without screwing with your wiring. just disconnect.
