Default need some advice on turbo tunning

i just spent 40 straight hours putting a turbonetics t3/t4 turbo kit on my buddies 97 h22 accord. we had the car running stock fuel pressure regulator w/ a FMU hooked up. the car ran extremely rich, off course bc of the FMU. well we just switched the FMU out for some bigger injectors, walbro 255, and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. the car still runs extremely rich. at cruise the car is alright, at wot and idle it dumps fuel. tried adjusting the pressure but cant get it right. any help other than just tunning w/ a hondata ecu?

You willl need to get better fuel control, no way around that.

Especially with larger fuel injectors. I would just put the stock injectors and pump back in there, disconnect the wastegate arm, and drive it around with no boost for now.

If you are spending the money to turbo a car, spend the extra couple of hundred bucks on Hondata

You can get free tuning software like Crome, but you would still need to have someone who knows Crome tune it for you on the dyno.

Good luck!

were getting a hondata this week and next sat. getting it dyno tuned. we were just fooling around on the street today and the car ws just too rich. just checkin to see if it was something simple i missed as for as fuel pressure. hes only running 4-7lbs for now. what psi would u set the FPR to?
hes got a s-afc v-tec controller, but i dont know how to tune w/ that. i can tune a gm car w/ a laptop but know nothing about the afc tunning.

you are on the right track with the hondata and the dyno tuning. thats the problem i had with my accord. you might also need a new ecm/ecu. a p28 is needed for vtecs. every one will try to sell you a s300, but all you realy need is a s100 for everyday driving.

well, at first i was using 6 injectors. the normal 4 (240's) and 2 extra injectors (450's) that sat infront of the throttle . they had a stand alone system. t was to hard for me to fine tune. i then upgraded to 4 550's rc injectors and a hondata s100.
