I haven't been very active here cause my mustang is undergoing a total transformation. i've sold the motor, completely gutted the car and have started over, i've swapped the old 86 interior for the newer style 91 interior , have really cleaned up the engine bay, removed almost 200 pounds off the nose of the car , switched to manual brakes and rebent all new brake lines. My car goes to paint at the end of the month and my goal is to have my new motor built and ready to install next winter.

In the mean time i got a used 2004 Ford Superduty pickup with the powerstroke diesel. Last friday i ran a 16.70 @ 80 mph at the track with a 2.3 60 ft. This week i ordered a Diablosport Programmer and Loaded in a 100 hp tune. The first pass tonight i smoked all 4 wheels and had to abort the pass, the second time i raced a modded ( it had at least exhaust ) honda civic si . The civic ran a 15.31 @ 95.23 mph but i ran a 13.88 @ 95.78 mph with a 1.922 60 ft ( still chirping all 4 wheels ) . Shocked me as i figured i'd only run a 15 or so. The Diablo sport programmer was the best 360 bucks i ever spent !!!

and o sh1t, one upgrade gave you that much of a improvement on your time.(remember i talked about a magazine about imports, they wasted like 2k+ on performance and only ran a 14-15sec runs...but mostly 15's,lol).

and a new build for a your mustang...this got me excited as well,lol.

i just can't get over it almost 3 full seconds in the 1/4 mile from just a 360 dollar programmer. All i did was sit in the drivers seat, plug in the programmer and follow the prompts. It took all of maybe 3 mins and bam it was done. the truck is an animal. ( 425 hp and 750 foot pounds of torque will do that for you )

yep, the truck comes stock with 325 hp and 550 foot pounds of torque, the programmer adds 100 hp and 198 foot pounds of torque ( those are peak to peak, at some points in the dyno graph it's more like 125 hp and near 240 lb of torque ) 325 + 100 =s 425 hp and 550 + 200 =s 750 believe me you can definately feel the torque on the holeshot !!!!!!!

diablo makes some wicked stuff!! i have been trying to get my dad to buy one for his ram 2500, with a hemi! but he blows all his money on a 68' charger....with a hemi! i got about 100hp out of a mod one time. i installed some "fear this" stickers on my dodge shadow.....and that was all she wrote.
