Default How do they handle in snow?

hey guys
a while ago my sis had a '01 eclipse
it was a great car in every aspect
cept in the snow...it slid around like no other
ive talked to other eclipse owners of around the same year and they said they have the same problem
she had top of the line tires too
i was just wondering
how do the 95's or so handle in snow?
cause i got in a wreck so i need a new car
i told my parents eclipses are cheap and pretty decent cars
but they wont let me get one cause of what my sis's was like

OR...if you have a better idea for me to get, lemme know
needs to be at max only like 5 grand
and cheap on insurance

oh yeah...and how cheap are eclipses on insurance? :P
just lemme know :P
thnx

if its AWD then it handles amazingly, the FWDs will be the same as any other FWD

and all all wheel drive models are turbo so they may be a bit more expensive on insurance, depends on your provider, my company has a 25% increase for cars that pop up on the computer as "sports cars". my car and turbo eclipses and talons do not pop up as sports cars with my provider
