I agree, they could have had a gun, and even if they didn't, they can sue and say they did not have any intention of stealing the car, etc.

That's pretty crazy. But I agree with the gun part. At the end, his story had a happy ending but anything could've happened. The story could've ended up having dead people over some car parts.

hey also another way someone can get under ur hood without setting off the alarm for more then 3 secounds,not enough to let u know whats really going on or get suspicious,when i get the time ill make a post to help save it from happening to ppl because it has happened to me and i dont even have a car alarm,but theives here in florida...they reach behind ur driverside tire and rip out the panels and the top panels contians the hood cable grab it give it a good tug and the hood pops open,and i will take the time to write up the article for how to relocate it so no one can find it and disconnect ur battery.and yea theives do suck.
