i have an 02 chevy cavalier. which intake would be better for my car: short ram or cold air?? thanks

depends...I know some true cold air intakes fun the filter out of the engine bay, but this can sometimes cause it to be in a place that is prone to getting wet, therefore sucking water into the motor. short rams are always a good choice, but its really up to you

so i was doing some more reseasrch and i found that the cai give you only about 1 to 3 hp gain but i couldnt find the short ram intaek hp gain...any one know? Also would it be hard to make a custom cai if you are low experienced?

^^^all you need for a custom kit is some extra pipe (may need to be bent) some silicone connectors and for you some blue zip ties should be fine

maybe you should just buy one instead, I dont see you putting one together and it actually functioning...go AEM or K&N, you'll be set

alright. with the weopon r dragon they dont say cold air or short ram is it like a combination or just replaces your stock intake? idk if you know antything about that sytem or not

if it doesnt say just assume its a short ram...they usually distinguish if its CAI, but not if its short ram
