hey what do you think i should do: 1. keep my current turbo that my friend gave me (he only used it for a month or too and gave it to me for an amazing price or 2. add a cold air intake system with a bigger intercooler????

K, so I just looked over your specs for your car..well as far as what's on your prof..pretty impressive..must say you did a nice job of fixing that beast up. Congrats.

As for your Eclipse...personally, I couldn't give an exact answer since I've been hearing the craziest things from all angles...I guess it depends what you'd rather have...the most your CAI is gonna do is boost the sound of the engine at higher RPM's..which isn't a smart idea to have in certain states/provinces(legallity an such), as for the turbo, I suppose it would depend on whether or not you actually have it installed or not..again, I don't know a whole lot about the Eclipse to give a definite answer, so if anyone has an objection to what I'm saying, then my bad..but if you already have it on your engine, then I'd keep it there..otherwise, if its not installed..the it's a hassle to put on since you'll really have to check out your engine and get the components and calculations right..if not then you might find yourself taking one short ride..

alright thanks. but i dont have it installed yet. my friends dad that gave me the turbo said he would put it on my car. but then my dad popped the question well what would be better turbo or cai. im just looking for my car to get the best performance and speed out of my intake

if i put the cai in wouldnt i have to take it out in the winter too and put the stock intake back in?? also would the turbo boost my acceleration more
