LOL. I'm fully aware of the automotive history of this dying and crumbling city. My father and grandfather both retired from FoMoCo after a combined 67 years of service. Trust me, It's nothing but Ford Country out here. Mustangs, GT(40)'s, Grand Torino's, Pinto's with 351W shoved into the engine bay, Falcons, Galaxy's & Fairlanes. If you can name it, I've seen it. Every third week of August we have a event here called the Dream Cruise. (I'm not sure if you heard of it.) http://www.woodwarddreamcruise.com/. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woodward_Dream_Cruise. It's the largest single day event in the world. This event covers 16 miles and 9 cities here in Oakland county. It's starts at 8 mile road, which is the dividing line between both Oakland and Wayne counties(Detroit). It's primarily a car event formed around American vehicles during the muscle car era. Everyday I'm surrounded my these senior aged @$$holes reliving their youth. I'm not bashing American cars….keep in mind that automotive industry was my and my parents livelihood. It's just that American car manufactures until recently have only been mainly focused on going fast in a straight line. I'll take a road course over a drag strip any day.
