Unhappy my poor civic

last night my car was making a little nosie and then i shift gears and it stopped until i got about 2500 rpms. today it was worst and then i got home and started to look around in it and i found out it had no oil thanks to my high mileage engine. So i put oil in it and started it up and it sounds normal for about two minutes and i was driving and it got even worst because now once i am slowing down and stopping my car turns off and i have to start it up just so i can turn because it kinda locks up and makes it very difficult to turn. does anyone have any idea on what it is because i really dont feel like buying a new motor?

Do not waste any more money and time change the engine (used).

Go with the suggestions above. You should be able to find a used D series for $100-$200. They are dirt cheap.

try your local honda forums / wrecking yards for a used motor. Now might be a good time to change to a z6 if you are a nonvtec stock

Don't give up hope. You can get a D for cheap though. Good thing just an engine because you already have a tranny.
