My hat's off to you, seriously boss job, the results truly paid off for you. Look forward to seeing the next round. What was the length of time you spend doing the project?

It took me 1 yr to finally have it running where I want on stock internals. I say 1 yr, because, we have broken tranny, rear axles stage 5 twice, everything replaced and tested. 15 Months ago, I was serving the US Army in Iraq, My wife, Gadiel and LaCostaMotorSports, had all my parts ready for my return and out of the military so, I would say a good 10-12months project and still going, currently need a catch can, and we will be going to the track this weekend (29June), and Hopefully break a world record(10.68) on stock internals all boost. Props to your 10 sec car, it isn't as easy as everyone thinks. altho you should've got a ford, you wouldn't have had so much breakage . i'm running 10s with a truck motor with stock internals ( other then some cheap forged pistons ) and a stock rear with stock axles and the only thing that's broken so far has been .....uuuummmm nothing

LOL, Nice point of view.
I love my ride and wouldnt give it up for a Domestic. Ive been always around imports all my life, especially rx7's, w/ 12a,13b and now the 20b rotor engines. Rotary rules the world !!! Having a 10 second car, Behind the scenes, is not pretty. Lots of time, dedication, sacrifice, long hours of tuning, mecanic working, replacing tranny, axles, testing and Rersearch and development, Thanks to gadiel Maimum Power Tuning. Its just a tough road but it gets better when you are finally out on the track and staging, after all that all you have is God, Your Heart and B@lls and be ready to flat foot shifting every gear and get the results we all been working hard for. If not, back to the shop, etc, etc.... |

Thanks Fellas, Tomorrow night, we will be hitting the streets at midnight for a 3 hour session, road tune, getting ready for the big race on Sunday.
I will keep you guys updated, as we will try to better the et, with a 10.5 or better, unless we break something... After Sunday, mypocket.com, visa atm and cashimiro, will be starting to sponsor me slowly but surely for my next project...lol |
