There are tons of things that can be done to improve your performance are you looking for NA power? or would you be interested in forced induction?

use the pistons out of a mazda rotary, they'll bump the compression pretty high but still streetable . Welcome > : 0 )

okay, you cant just swap pistons man, first your going to need to drop the engine, run it over to the engine builder who you know and trust, have him do all your machine work for you, since you can't put brand new pistons into worn cylinders, but lets pretend we already discussed that. since he is boring over your cylinders, why not have him port and polish the head also. since your doing that, why not go with larger camshafts. now the question, since you've done all this work and spent a grand basically rebuilding the engine, should you just lower the compressing and go turbo, or run high compression and stay N/A. heres the bottom line, unless you have piston slap, or a broke rod, you wont regret leaving the pistons alone. if you want some power, look into some camshafts and adjustable cam sprockets.
