IMO, sometimes the more realistic the game, the more it sucks. If they focus too much on realism, but let you drive 200mph, it's kind of hard to control the car

The games don't always need the best technology to be fun.

in reality, to make a good game it would need to be a (network/server) to update it everytime something new comes.have realism in it, and alot of racing in a (single, multiplayer mode).and every car of every year it was made.

I like realism and thats fun and what not, but maybe Im just too much of a purist, when i play games i want to have fun, not think about what im doing or how too much realism might ruin such a game. Gran Turismos a good game, realistic, but overall about as exciting to drive and race as watching paint dry.

I like the games like need for speed and stuff but they would be so much better if they showed realism. like when you wreck a car come on show us the damage and buy the parts and fix it your self like you would in real life. RIGHT?

I'v played Need for Speed Underground 1 and 2 and i enjoyed 2 because you had to drive around the city to get to your next race and you can challenge people on the street. But i always hate the limit of cars parts i really don't care to much for. Right now Iv played SRS and its ok but none of these games let you have bikes. Midnight club3 Dub Ed. lets you have bikes and its a ok game. I really enjoy the respect point system as far as having to ear points to unlock better races worth more. But i never like the having to unlock cars. I think the only thing stopping you from getting the best cars and parts should be cash. then as you enter a race the cars should be designed to be able to compete with yours. to a degree. I'm always a fan of AWD but it does have its limits... speaking of limits.. i can't under stand how my car can have 500 hp and have such a limited top speed (SRS doesn't let you mod the trans at all).. which sucks because in the higher level races they all can catch back up with me because i haven't unlocked a better car...

Forza Motorsports 2 is probably the best game out there. Its a simulator, where damage is real, but the car wont completely break down. It'll drive like shit though if you beat it enough. You can tune almost every aspect of the suspension and drivetrain, but not the motor itself. And there are groups of parts, rather than individual parts, such as heads and cams, exhaust, air intake, turbo, block, etc.

Im hooked on it, and I would reccomend it to anyone. I did play a game where the car actually breaks down if you crash, but i didnt like it. I think it was called Touge Racer 3 or something.

for one..they should make the handling realistic..not screwy and yall know what im talkin about..they should allso make it so there is actuall change when you mod..to handling ect...in the top end erea..and be realistic about a cars speed..and i mean the cars the cpu controlls..seems they go a kabizillion miles an hour faster than you and can hug a corner at that speed flawlessly..when they fix those..ill cpu race..and stay off of the street
