Does anyone know where the temp sensor is locate on a '03 GTI ?

should either be next to the thermostat or it will be mounted to the head prolly somewhere between the intake and exit pipe. a car manual will tell you exactly where. you prolly have 4 sensors, one for the switch to turn on the cooling fan, one to turn on the radiator fan, one to send the signal to the gauge and one to tell the pcm.

It might help if you were a little more specific as to which temp sensor you were looking for? Air? Coolant?
