keep in mind that the size of the woofer effects what frequencies you can play the best, so it's best to pick a size that matches your favorite music. 12's and 15's play the lowest frequencies best, around 40 to 55 hz, and 10's are best at frequencies around 50 to 65 hz. 15's make poor sound quality for most types of music, it's best to use a 15 along with 2 10's to get good sound, tuning the speakers for their intended areas, if you tune them for the same frequencies it sounds like crap......just stay away from 15's unless you know what your doing.

btw don't forget to upgrade your alternator and install capacitors if you haven't already. pm me if you need help getting more out of what you have already.

Capacitors are a bandaid for a problem. They dont fix it.

hence the comment, make sure you upgrade your alternator! capacitors do prevent excessive voltage draw, which will extend the life of the battery and alternator.

with a properly tuned and installed system, a 300 watt amp provides more than enough bass to make the hair on your arms and in your nose vibrate, plenty enough to hear and be heard. anything more than that (outside of competing) is a waste that will just wear out the seals in your car and burn out alternators (unless you load up on a ton of battery reserve)

oh wait, i'm in a car forum, practicality doesn't exist under the age of 30 lol jk everyone
