anything is possible just add lots of $$$$$. i dont know off hand of anyone that has done or sells conversion stuff. look arround the net check some dedicated dsm sites some one may have done it and can tell you if you have to cut stuff or if enough room exist with out major fab work. it would be my thoughts that if you were to undertake such a venture you would be best to buy a whole car wrecked in the rear cause im sure you are going to need a lot of stuff including complete wire systems exct. i think i would just spend the money on a reputable 6 bolt build and some good turbo system. good luck.

the 4G63 is a better fit and much cheaper / easier to work on. I would investigate that route

do not switch to a v6... especially in a DSM if you want get a honda and do it. as for motors in opur cars go with a built 6 bolt either from buschur racing or do your own combo of pistons rods etc. Eagle/Weisco at 9.0:1 compression with a polished and cleaned crank, then for head work go dual valve springs, titanium retainers, SS valves FPx2 cams, ported head, Smim, and a gt35r and you got yourself a 500HP car if not more easily and you spend half the money as custom fab'ing the engine bay to fit that v6 and here is the best part i can almost garentee you will blow away if not all most v6's
