Default 97 civic ex transmission

how do I replace the fluid in my tranny and where's the fill?

is it auto or manual? if it is manual there should be two bolt on the side of the tranny you can get to by removing the front passenger wheel and the wheel well. the top bolt is the check and fill bolt and the lower one is the drain. you just have to remove the top bolt if the fluid is right up to it you have enough if you dont see any fluid just add til it comes up to the lower edge and reapply the bolt. It is easiest to put a tube inside the hole and run the tube straight up into the engine bay and connect it to a funnel.

Auto is easy remove the tranny dipstick(yellow handle) and add.

oh just a side note you do not have to remove your wheel and well to get to the drains it is just easier so you dont have to completely lie on your back unnder the car just look on the lower right side of the transaxle and you will see the two bolts
