i need help (tranny problem)
I have a 02 mitsubishi Lancer Es withs about 57k miles on it the tranny is auto and when it gos to shift it will well it hard to explanie its like its binding with something. when it dose that it will supper and drop the speed down to 40is i took it to a local repair shope and all the codes were fine. my one firend said it was the torque converter. and another one side it wasn't. the He said try unhooking the barttie for ten min or so to reset the computer. i did that and still now change. any help will be good

are you under any warranty? sounds like you could have a damaged gear. does it do it only when shifting into a certain gear or everytime? How is your tranny fluid levels? and when was the last time you had a trans flush and filter change?
