Default so how did you start off???

I started off with a broke down 240 and got it working fine now besides blowing the intake gasket last week. but it's all good now. First started with a custom intake system and of course a sound system. lowering springs should be coming in next week with hopefully my sway bar kit

so how did you guys start out with and what are you doing now?

i started off with a 94 3kgt SL. simple mods like an intake, downpipe, test pipe, pulley, and clutch. I got it to run a solid 15.0 @ 92mph, which is pretty fast for those cars.

a year later, i bought the vr-4, and awd + boost has been enstilled into my heart forever.

my first car was a 1971 Ford Maverick. it was lots of fun to drive, and push around town.

i never really got into cars unless i had to until i got my 1993 dodge dakota, it was a 5spd and it was quick. i kept playing with it to get a few more horse out of it. bought the jetta after my first deployment and the neon after my second. thats my story

I started off before I could drive with about 8 car mags a month. Then I got a 93 V6 Camry not much aftermarket support, engine went and swapped in a 96 Lexus ES 300 (same engine basically) for a net gain of 3HP and 13 LB-Ft and was hooked. Next was my 2005 Tibby and I had to sell that to buy the Sonata, Now I’m in a debate project car or bike.

I had a 85 Trans Am with a Vette 350 TPI motor and shift kit in the tranny plus a stage 2 chip. It got stolen in Newark, NJ. Since then I never got back into the racing scene until last year when I heard that my favorite car (EVO) was changin the body style, so I bought me the Evo 9 and I'm happier than a pig in S@^t!

1971 Olds cutlass supreme. fun as hell to drive, like a big green tank. First modded vehicle was 80 CJ7, chevy 350 tuned port motor, 350 turbo tranny, ford 9" rears with 4:11's, 38" super swampers. Fun to chirp all four tires. Sounded like a wounded seal. Pretty much eclipses after that. 91, 92, 94, 97, 95, all turbo except the 97. Also had some odd and end cars. 78 cougar, 77 chrysler new yorker, 69 camaro with a 400 smallblock swapped
