Post DSM Problems!

Ok heres the story.my brother had the car(94 Talon 1.8) b4 i got it and he got a different car so i said i would take it.It ran fine when he had it excpet a idling problem.when i got it i let it sit b/c i had a diff vehicle at the time. But when i got it i think he ran it hot cause inside the block where the pistons are the walls were a little rough on some of them.So i got the head redone and it looked all purdy and flawless. So i put it back in the car and all the other crap that i took off.set the timing on it and it crunk up fine after some tinkering my dad and brother done.I was ready to drive it so i washed the outside of the car(not under the hood).i tried cranking it after i washed it and all it would do is turn over.i let it sit for about 5 mins and tried it again and it crunk up.i drove it to the store to put gas in it and when i was ready to leave it done it again.then i drove to my friends house to put a radio in it.It drove fine on the way over there. We put the radio in it and i got ready to leave but the car would not crank at all.So i got it towed to my house.and there she sat for awhile. Now i want to drive it again.I just bought a ECU from another talon like mine and put it in the right way.i thought that would fix it so i tried to crank it and it still wouldnt. So i check to see if it was firing and it wasnt. But the coil is getting fire to it.Im thinking the coil is bad or do i have to get the ECU reprogrammed?Or should i just buy a whole new distributor?Thx

kinda funny when you think that Hyundai bought their engine blueprints from Mitsubishi. Open your hood and you'll find a Korean built Mitsubishi.

While OLD Hyundai’s use Mitsu engines MINE uses the G4KC Theta "world engine" that was co designed by Chrysler, Mitsu and Hyundai Its basic block and head are used by all of them. That’s why if I had the money to throw away I would swap in the Chrysler version found in the new SRT-4 it pretty much is a bolt in affair.
