Default Honda Civic 1996 Hatch - 343whp, 11 psi, stock 1.8L motor

Just wanted to share my car with you guys.

It's a 96 Civic hatchback with a B18C1 swap. The motor is completely stock with unknown mileage. Stock GSR tranny, stock axles, stock everything from the valve cover to the oil pan.

The mods are:

Peakboost turbo kit @ 11psi
BLOX Intake Manifold
550cc Injectors
Walbro 255HP
Hondata S200 with Boost option and P28 ECU

That's it for power mods! Car made 343whp and 265ft/lb torque at 11psi.

Car pulls damn hard.... 343whp in a 2350lb hatch, you do the math

Here are some pics... enjoy!

Great numbers...have you taken it to the strip yet? Any cats or resonators in the exhaust? Are you running a SRI or CAI?

Just added another pic with my intake... it's just a filter right on the turbo

Nah, haven't taken it to the strip yet... it's a 3 inch exhaust with a magnaflow 3 inch cat, but when I dyno'd it, it had a testpipe.

Nice ride beak. You should have kept the the test pipe. It's not like any cops are going to be able to keep up with you.

WRONG the source of intake for any turbo is intercooler. thats the big pipe that hooks to the box like thing behind the bumper. the filter on the turbine is for blow-off

dumb the filter sucks air in to get more flow to the turbo
the intercooler does just that cools the air down before getting to the engine
cuz everyone knows engines run better with cold air coming into the engine
Duhhhhhhhh!!!

before bashing.... i tried to quote the question from the thread above it that asked about a sri or cai, the response to that was its the filter on the turbo. thats where my thread came in about that its wrong. the source of incoming air would be the intercooler hints why its bolted to the intake manifold the fitler that you see in the pics is on the turbine which is exaust

That's not correct. The turbo sucks air from the air filter, and pushes it through the intercooler into the intake manifold. The turbine is on the other side of the air filter... and is connected to the exhaust... that has nothing to do with the intake

WOW....somebody is LOST!
The part of the turbo that is most visible is the COMPRESSOR! Also known as the cold side of the turbo. The TURBINE is directly connected to the exhaust manifold, also known as the hot side of the turbo.

Great #'s BEAK!!!!!!
