Default Squires Turbo Systems...STS

Most components under the hood of today's vehicles were not designed to operate at extremely high temperature a turbo produces. In order to place a turbo in an already overcrowded engine compartment it is necessary to do a lot more than just make some room for the turbo itself.

By mounting the turbo remote under the vehicle, STS has eliminated the heat problem. A remote mounted turbo runs cooler, with no additional lag and requires no major modifications to your vehicle.

The basic systems provide ~5 psi of boost, but with additional tuning and turbo upgrades the systems can produce near 20 psi of boost.

Its not all that sweet the turbo is located in front of the rear tires or behind the rear pumpkin most times. not ideal when it comes to water or dirt intake not to mention its a pain in the ass when running oil lines. u should ask pro street about it, they do these installs all the time, they have a sierra putting down 600 whp on pump gas with this kit

i agree, its not a cheap-out to turbo charging, it comes with all the same responsibilities all tuning comes with. more hours in the garage making sure everything is running right, clean and serviceable. but the STS system is a great setup and alternative for guys with no room at the inn(engine bay)

the only thing i don't like about the sts kit is that if the oil pump ( that pumps the oil from the turbos back to the motor ) messes up , not only will your turbos get screwed up but so will your engine
