Default FG2 Civic Si convert drive-by-wire to throttle cable

you need:

1. RSX Type S throttle body with RBC adapter plate OR accord TB should bolt directly

2. throttle cable (EP3 should fit)

3.) older k-series ECU - preferably K-pro'd make sure to get a version with the speedo correction b/c '06 si runs different VSS than older K-series

Because the Si has a digital speedo, you would probably need to have it K-Pro'd (just a guess, since the RSX and older EP3s did not have a digital speedo).

Here is more info on the K-Pro: http://hondata.com/kpro.html

If there is any more that needs to be done, I will post here, and let you guys know. So far, since this is such new technology, we are still exploring it.

If you want to do this to fix the infamous "RPM hang", there is a ECU modification for that, and you do not need to change the DBW system.

DBW is a new throttle control system, and currently it's not "ideal" for racing or high performance, but as we learn more, it might be the best setup... currently people are not happy with it due to the delay of foot hits pedal, pedal tells ECU to open throttle, throttle opens.

I'll keep you guys posted as I learn more. If anyone has any info, please post here. Thanks
