Default 944 With 1JZGTE

normaly i would reformat my thread from the other forum but i think ill do that later on, im just realy tired right now.... so instead...... here is a link =)
hope you guys like it.

http://www.define-touge.net/forum/showthread.php?t=955

Project Start Date: 06/19/07
Currently: Nearing completion

The beginning the stock engine was being prepped for removal took about a week to remove, the engine at a slow pace with help. I had an unfortunate mishap and couldn't actually do any work myself at the time, I was just after surgery from appendix removal.

Crap that was removed and is mostly non reusable with the new setup, will be sold off or scraped.

When the motor arrived i had to take some pics =P

Some engine dressup, because we all know that engines need to look cool right?

Lightweight Flywheel + Stage 2 Pressure plate + Ford racing disk? hooray for adaptation!

Marked on a steel plate that is going to be used as an adapter to the stock rear placed transaxel.

First test fitting of the engine into the bay

the finished adapter plate

since the mileage wasn't accurate on my car anyways i fixed the odometer and rolled it back to the new engines mileage .

then here is my altered tach with 1000 higher top and remarked on the original piece >,<

the autobell housing with the manual adapter plate whoot! its all in and mounted up!

Motor mount A

Motor Mount B

Engine finaly siting in the engine bay on its own.

stock Y pipe (SUCKS!)

and the replacment still needs to be cut .........

Im hoping to get my exhaust done next week probably at your guys shop, the rates i have been seeing from you guys seem better then decent.

I need a complete exhaust and my Ypipe to be cut before the collector and bolt flange to be placed there V

then for two (2.5") individual pipes to follow down past the bell housing for ground clearance then have the 3" collector re welded right under the drive shaft tube, then a flange from there all the way back to the transmission housing where another flange to the end piece with the Resonator I would provide.

any chance you can give me a price estimate?

ohh and it would be all stainless steel

Im assuming that you would supply the collector and muffler and we would get you the piping right? You are probably looking at about 200 for labor, give the shop a call and we'll try to get you in.
