Default H22A Swap???

I have a 93 civic DX hatch, all stock and a H22A complete swap for it sitting in the garage. I'm overseas right now so I can't work on it but I'm trying to gather up all the information I can on this subject. I bought the motor, trans, ecu and a bunch of other parts from a friend who got into a wreck and his insurance company declared it totaled, so instead of letting the insurance company rip him off with $3,800 he decided to part it out and I bought all the stuff I could think off that would needed for the swap. I have seen this motor in an older hatch and it was really fast, 12.1 in the quarter with just bolt-ons (no turbo or nitrous) and some tuning at a local drag strip. Any information on this swap would help a bunch, even where I could possibly buy a book or video for it, Thanks in advance!

The swap itself is quite straightforward provided you are using a swap kit from AVID, HASPORT, etc. Since you have DX, you will have to add the VTEC wiring / pressure switch wires to your ECU. Also, since you are putting the motor and tranny into the EG chassis, you will have to cut / weld / fabricate the shifter linkage assembly that is to be used on your H series tranny, unless you plan on using a B tranny plate on your H series motor. Let us know if you have any further questions. Good luck

Is It Posible To Use The Harness That Comes With The Motor And Ecu So That U Dont Have To Fight With All The Pins On An Ecu, I Ask Cause I Am Unsure BUT MY THOUGHT IS HARNESS AND PROPER ECU THEY SHOULD JUST PLUG RIGHT IN AND ASLONG AS U DONT MISS A SENSOR ULL BE GOOD

they are right you need a motor mount kit. if you have the complete wire harness you can remove your old one and install the h22 one. of cource you will need the ecu. you will need to get beffier axles stock will not hold up. plelude axles are to long. check the ivac and egr before you install the engine. replace the timming belt, water pump etc. you can get a complete guide from nathan morris at www.ultimateresourceguides.com to get a complete swap guide. i have one for my 93 accord and it is very detailed. i have been doing research for about 6 months on this swap. i already have the h23 swap and want to swap to h22
