Thumbs up 98 Subaru JDM STI ver. 8 pwd CF Lightweight Coupe

So I've been working on my new Project car since Feb. 14th. It's a 98 2.5RS (GC8 chassis type) powered by a 2005 JDM STI Ver. 8 Drivetrain(GDB), consisting of an 2.0L flat-4 motor (EJ207), VF-37 turbo (twin-scroll), and AVCS (variable cam timing), and A Zerosports STI Spec. C ECU (8250 RPM redline). Using a Utec EM to De-tune for US lower octane fuel and add multiple fuel maps for different boost settings and C-16; It also allows for Adjustable Launch control and Flat-foot shifting. Finally making good progress, should be street legal in a few weeks. It's still at the body shop getting the paint finished up, Then I have a finally batch of parts to install and get Re-tune it and add a fuel map for C16 now that I have a non-catted DP to run, as well as the JDM stock catted ver. 8 STI DP for emissions reasons. Here are a few pictures of the Progress made so far. My goal this time is 2600 lbs, 300-350 awhp, low 12, high 11 sec pass at 110mph+ trap speed in the quarter mile. Should still be able to pull around 30 mpg for the long cruises to the mountains! I'm also interested in seeing how it will perform in time attack. I'm going to try and bring it to SEMA next year, should have it all buttoned up, maybe an upgraded HKS turbo to get around 400 whp by then as well, we'll see.

This is the interior after I had parts of the cage redone, removed all the rust and most of the sound deading, and repainted the interior black, it only took a few week.

\/ I removed the roof to delete the sunroof and to make the rollcage work easier and better.

/\ Clark Tuner is a Friend of mine, He's the one that's tuning my car. Known him for a few years now.

And yes, this is alot of work, but I firmly believe that the end result with show that it was all worth it.
here's some more pictures.
Trimmed the dash to clear the rollcage.

/\Thanks!
It should be all painted by the end of the week, Then I'm going to install the New wheels & BBK, corner-balance it and take it to get emissions tested.
I'm working on getting a Front lip from Japan, should take a couple months to get it (it's on backorder for a few more weeks).

Here's some new pictures. I picked up and installed a CF S202 spoiler, and had the lens smoked. Currently running 1.1 Bar of boost. CF lip is a few weeks out, so are the side skirts.

Also installed some JDM STi Stainless Steel Door sill plates.

A few shots of what makes it a real S202 spoiler.
