Default problems in the srt world

okay, heres the issue. i was on may way back from the university and decided to run through the gears when i hit the open road. when i got back into town i could hear a loud whistling coming from the engine bay. i got it home and opened the hood and the sound continued. i thought that i might have blown a vacuum line and sprayed carb cleaner to try to locate the leak, found nothing. i cant really figure out where the high pitched whistle is coming from and its so damn loud i could hear it when i walked back to my shop to get the carb cleaner. i didnt stay out too long because its a hundred freaking degrees out today, plus the sound was hurting me ears. i honestly have no clue what the noise is, thought it was a vacuum line, but im not sure. need your help guys! thanks dssrt. and no notch im not going to buy a ford and spray it......

have you changed anything recently on the car? is the whistling only happening when the car is warm?
