Question turbo's and exhaust

I have asked around and have gotten different answers. So here is the question im about to run the tsi turbo kit from prostreet. Right now im running the greddy evo 2 full exhaust system. The system is 2 1/2 pipe. Is that fine to run on a 6 to 8 pound boost or is 3" the smallest pipe i should run

thanks for the help

2 1/2 will be fine for 8lbs of boost man, just make sure it will weld up to the downpipe and your good to go!

You still want a 3" downpipe, and have it flow into a 2 1/2" flow pipe and muffler

3" downpipes is like a must with all turbo cars, anything smaller is killing it

well got everything installed and its one bad car. About that 3" down pipe im running right now 2 1/2 everything. It would be better to run a 3" downpipe to a 2 1/2 pipe?
