Thanks for the turbo specs, i wont have to much of a problem with the piping if i do full custom piping because my dad runs an air conditioning shop and he has all the different pipes and machinces to bend them to any which way, but welding the B.O.V flange onto it can be tricky since the tubing can be so thin

If your dad has access to a tube bender good, you shouldnt have a problem. What type of piping will you use for the charge piping? mild steel is easy to do, aluminum is ideal. if all else fails, just use a thicker OD pipe for the upper intercooler pipe, and weld on the BOV flange of your choice. Hope that helps. Good luck man

im prob going with steel, thisstuff isnt much of a problem ive helped a buddy hook up his turbo i know bits andpieces but my main concern is turbo size, which u helped me decide on a size (gsrturbo) and i do thank you for that, im just hoping it all goes good, this is my daily driven car and cant afford to have my engine blown or screw something up,but this is the only engine mod i really want to do and im going to leave it at that.my engine is in good health 113k miles which isnt bad for a 1990 ls,thats why i only want to run about 7psi right now.um is there any turbo smaller then a t3/t4?

There are quite a few more turbos than the t3/t4, but a 50 trim is good for 7-8psi. Anything smaller and you wont be able to utilize the plethora of available t3 flanged manifolds for your engine. Id say stick with a 50 trim in .48 a/r flavor, should do wonders for your powerband
